I really should have had certain friends there at the museum with me to point and share some of what I was seeing. This is the best of a series of a dozen attempts to take a picture of a painting in a dark hallway underglass. What a nightmare. It ended up looking vaguely like a newsprint version of the painting, losing detail and clarity, but this just made me think of young men four or so hundred years ago, back when a 'boy' was a 'man' at age fifteen or seventeen. You could imagine these men studying in college or some such; there were several in the scene, only one of them had a face that really stood out.
