I once, when I had more time I wasn't spending doing other things, did stained glass. These windows were gorgeous. It was sort of sad that they had to have wire screens over them to protect them. But the colors were vivid. I realized early on that I'd have to visit at two times of day to get really good pictures of both sides of the church windows. The great thing about digital cameras (I imagine I'll say this often, one great thing or another), is that at full pixel depth I get so much information that I can zoom in on any one pane and get such incredible detail.
One of the things in the 'some day' category was going through all these photos and picking out high resolution crops where it made sense to do that.
